I am sorry if I seemed to dis you last night at the Regatta Bar about your not being on the recent Blues Cruise. After hearing you sing and play, I am very sorry that you were not there. It was a great performance together with Joe Louis Walker and I look forward to attending your future performances. Keep On Rockin'

Heard you tonight with Joe Louis Walker at the Regattabar in Cambridge. You were AWESOME! Thought the entire night was great, but really loved your voice, tributes, and incredible guitar playing. Particularly loved your song about lost relationship - can't remember the name now - like I Let You Get Away or something. Anyway, what's your new CD? Is it Sugar Lips?

My son and I were at your show in Saratoga this week. I am just old enough to have seen a lot of the legends since the 60's. What a "gift" to hear you live in that setting. We really enjoyed your performance. You play it straight up and from the heart. Good blues at its finest! You were also genuinely nice as you signed a copy of Sugar Lips. Thanks..we'll be seeing you again soon. New Fans for sure!

An excellent show last night at Brian's Backyard BBQ. The crowd thought the first set was over when you launch suddenly into a cover of 'Sex Machine' which had us clapping and bobbing and singing along with you. Joe Louis Walker rocked the house and endeared us to him with an authentic, heart-felt performance of 'Way Too Expensive' -- a song you yourself wrote. Back and forth, you and Joe traded guitar licks and moved between songs seamlessly, never missing a beat or dropping out of rhythm. What a performance!

Had a great time with you & band at last show at Brian's. Would love to come, but cannot make it (up all night long, rock'n rolling). Love and kisses to all. See you next time around.

March 6, 2011

Hi, Murali!
I'm Andreea from Romania. You've met me and my sister Forentina, in Sighisoara at the Blues Festival. I wanted to tell you that we enjoyed the show very much, you are a very good guitar player and your voice is so cool. Thanks for the show and for the jam sessions and maybe you'll visit Romania longer next time. Good luck with your projets! :)

Billy the Biker

February 10, 2011

I think the town in Romania that you're gonna be playin in is pronounced Siggysowra. If that's where you're goin, you are gonna love it. It's right out of a Frankinstein movie. Last year we went there then to Transylvania to Dracula's castle for a holloween party. In Siggysowra last year they were replacing the entire towns streets and walk ways with new cobble stone. There's a bust of Bram Stoker in the town square overlooking the rest of the town. On a clear day you can almost see the Ukrane. Have a blast, drink plenty of Palinka, and BOONA my friend.

Hi Murali - Great to hear you and Joe at the Great Falls, MT show. You guys travelled a LONG way for that one gig! So did we; it's a 7 hour drive from Calgary. Tight, solid band, and Joe is such a musical gentleman. In particular, I really enjoyed your comping. As a blues guitarist, it's something I work on a lot, and I stole a few ideas from you! It was a treat to hang out with you & Joe for a bit after the show. We hope you see you again! Let us know if you're ever headed to Western Canada!
