Hi Murali,
I don't know if you remember me but I sat in with you a couple of times in the Hudson Valley area before I relocated back to my native Detroit many years ago. Nice to see you're going stronger than ever. I still gig and teach full time in this area. I'll try to catch one of your shows the next time you're through this neck of the woods.
Sincerely,
Tom

Just saw you open for BB at Sheas. I was so impressed I purchased a few CDs. I enjoyed you more than BB (don't tell him). I may run down to Elmira to see you on the 22nd. Your live sound is one of the best I have heard.

March 5, 2008
Just want to say I'm so pleased you sound like you're doing so well with your career. I wish I could make it to hear you open for BB. You must be tired, seems like you're really pushing it but you have always been a super energetic guy. Keep up the good work and keep on thrilling those audiences. You've always had something special (from the days when I knew you when you were a kid) and a great comand of the stage and I'm glad you've really been able to share it. Hope to see you at the NGW this summer.

Muralli, I'm a blues drummer living in Los Angeles. Bill Shaw & his girl Deb are dear friends of mine, along with Freddie & Susan. In 2007 I played drums for Lex Grey, and also the Storm Front Band. I looking for a working band. I love to travel & record. I've recorded alot of Rock & Roll & no Blues to speak of. If you ask about me around Windham,N.Y. or Windham Mt. Ski Slope I'm sure you'l; get a positive reaction. If you know of a gig It would be great help. I'm 46 years old & have been a working teacher & player for many years. Good Luck....Sonny

February 11, 2008
Hey Murali. It Eric Spahr. We played together at Vizzie's in Buffalo a couple months back and all of us had a great time that night. I see that your opening for BB King in a month or so at Shea's. I'm going to the show and am looking foward to seeing BB King for the first time and it will be good to see you again too. I was coming to you wondering if there was any way I could possibly meet BB that night. As a blues player any chance I can get to meet a legend like that would be fantastic. If this is possible great, if not no big deal and I look foward to seeing you again on the 15th. Thanks
-Eric

Hi muraly,
I am only a German potatohead, but a big fan of you.
On your site, I miss your CD "Eyes wide open".
Is it in the United States is not officially?
Furthermore, I find on your site no information to your equipment.
That's really a shame. I love the song "softly let me kiss your lips." Unfortunately, I have no original cd.
This cd "Eyes wide open" motivates me to continue to play music.
Many years I have been shredding. Through you, I went back to my roots.
The good old blues. I thank you for this really hot cd.
I have even ravish, again a song record
If you want, you can listen to

It's been about 15 years? You played at Zodiac/Styleen's in Syracuse NY... that place has since changed hands and names about as many times as most bars/nightclubs do... it's now OHM Lounge, and they don't do much live music. However, Michael, the former owner of Zodiac/Styleen's when you played there..my former boyfriend.. has a fantastic venue: an historical landmark theatre in Syracuse. Acoustics are amazing. You ever comin this way again? We all remember your energy, your voice..
Closest I've heard to anything like you is Amos Lee on Jails and Bombs. My brother, father, and I are playing that song at our next gig. That's what made me think to Google you..
Isn't interenet crazy?
If you remember Syracuse, and wanna come back, get in touch with Michael. He'd go nuts promoting that show..
Michael Heagerty @ Palace Theatre :

And we'll all be singin "that makes me happy.. oh yes it does"

Caught the show at Legend's (7-16-06). I thought the setlist was perfect. Your band was solid, especially for a 3-piece w/pickup drummer - Juan, I think. Guitar was a little low in FOH- near the bar - I suppose that's because the amp was aimed at the sound board and he mixed it for that position. Anyhow, the playing was tasteful and soulful; and I really appreciated the absence of the ten-minute solos that somtimes dominate the blues circuit.
But your vocals, man, what soul! I hope you realize how blessed you are to have that voice and the intuition to know what to do with it. I think you, along with Tad Robinson, are two of the best white soul singers around.
Keep it up and I hope to see you again soon.
Jim

I met you at Knuckleheads in Kansas City. I had never heard anything like that before. After your show I bought your "Strong As I Need To Be" CD and have not stopped playing it yet. Hi Murali,
A note to say that we loved your performance in Urbana, Illinois and are hoping you can come out again to the Iron Post. Don't tell your father (who I loved as a guitarist growing up in New York, saw him regularly at the Bottom Line, he even once played Are You Too Clever), but I think you've assumed the mantle as best guitarist in the family. Thanks, David
